Our first visit to the PASS. i was quite impressed by room that the previous batch had set up. i just cannot imagine that the room was once a storeroom. well, they have really done a great job. first attempt to go there and understand the place wasnt too hard, in fact it was easy. after some briefing from the officer, we started to go around the computers to install microsoft office 2003. we also tried to install Windows XP into some computers which is now still running on Linux. i must say linux is good but however many applications are not usable with Linux with what we've got, moreover we got to standardise the OS used in all computer so that it would be easier to handle. despite ample attempts, we fail to install the OS and decided to come back another day to complete the job.

this trip to PASS is really fulfilling. if under normal circumstances, we will never get a chance to go this place and know how it is liked? lesson 1 is going to commence real soon. it is just so exciting. hehe. that's about it. shall blog again after tomorrow's trip to PASS
