Session 3

Though the attendance today was poor, I'm glad in a way because at least I get to talk to my buddy more. I'm just thinking, is it true that the poor attendance is due to the guys watching world cup? Or is world cup just an excuse to tell us that "Hey look, I'm not and have not been interested in coming to your lessons on saturday mornings"

As for the lectures, I'm glad that it's over and that we will be able to teach them more hands on stuff. One thought that have always been bugging me since day 1 of the WIL module is that of assembling computers. 'X' have told me that they will be more interested in assembling computers than lectures. So since the 'lectures' part have ended, I'm thankful.

The 3rd session in my point of view is one of the better ones. Partly due to the number of people who attend. Previously, there were groups of people who tend to 'speak out' to their friends from across the room, thus making it chaotic. I'm not saying the projection of voice is bad, but neither am I saying that it's good, I'm just saying that they have to use it appropriately and what would be more appropriate than them presenting at the graduation ceremony right?

As for my buddy's reflections, I can see that he feels obliged to write, not because he want to. From the way he write things, he seems a bit nonchalant about writing. And worst still, he tells me,

"Interesting what, what else to write if I only just find it interesting?"

To this question, I still need to think of an answer. Someone wanna help me?

The celebration of the guy's birthday part I think it was nice because what would be more memorable than for people to remember your birthday?
