Session 3

Bridging the Digital Divide.
"the gap between those who have and those who doesnt"

have i pulled the gap between both closer? did our teaching go across and will it be useful?
we did our best, teached what we know and understand, hoping to bridge the divide.
but knowing and applying it is two diff things. Now that we have taught them, they can choose to rem and forget. Even though they seem to know how to do it on sat, but when they step out of class they can just chuck it all aside or they will not even choose to apply what they learnt on their daily life. well, of cause as "tutors" or even friends of them, we hope that the msg of importance of technology and IT knowledge has been brought across.

anyway, saturday, when i was the first to teach, adrenaline rush! thoughts of teaching the wrong thing, conveying wrong message or whatsoever all come out. Well, in short, everything negative came out. But shortly i finished my presentation and they worked on the assessment part. Happy to say and see they manage to do what i ask them to do. . Which in a way its pretty comforting, cause they learnt something, they listened to me when i was conducting the lesson(:
a lil sense of satisfaction.

enjoyed their company during the lesson, as in, they are all nice people and outgoing. So we could talk to them at ease at things wasn't tense and boring. I think this is quite important. Cause no one will do anything they dont enjoy or feel comfy. so i think this way we do not only make them feel comfortable but also make them treat as us friends instead of tutors/instructors, someone that is "above".

I enjoyed this session to a certain extend(:

till then;
